In the months following my wife Steph Subak’s death in August 2015, I sorted through many forgotten items in our home. One of the last things I found was a nearly-30-year-old videotape of a memorial slideshow I created for our friend Tom Wiesmann in 1987. The slideshow, with music from the album Daylight Again by Crosby, Stills and Nash, was one of the most powerful mementos I found. It brought back a rush of memories from a difficult time in our lives.

Tom’s slideshow inspired me to create a similar memorial for Steph. I returned to my photo collection and selected a tune from the same album. The lyrics to “Delta,” a song that, to me, speaks of treasured memory, can be found here. (See photo descriptions here).
